How do I get a library card?
|

Adults
will need a valid driver's license or photo ID to establish their place
of residence.
|
|
Children
under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian with
a valid driver's license or photo ID.
|
|
What if I lose my library card?
|
|
The original card is free to Wisconsin residents. There is a $3 fee to replace a lost card. |
|
Where can I use my library card?
|
|
Your library card is good at any of the libraries in the following counties: Oconto, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Outagamie, Shawano, and Waupaca. |
|
You must have your library card with you in order to check out items. You cannot use someone else's card. |
|
How long can materials be checked out?
|
|
Books, audiobooks, and music cassettes/CDs can be checked out for 28 days. |
|
Short loan books and magazines can be checked out for 14 days. |
|
Videos and DVDs can be checked out for 7 days. |
|
Local history and reference materials cannot be checked out. |
|
What are the fines for overdue items?
|
|
Fines are .10 per day for all items except videos and DVDs. |
|
Fines on videos and DVDs are $1.00 per day. |
|
There is a $1.00 fine if a video is not rewound. |
|
Fines
on interlibrary loan items (ILLs) are $1.00 per day.
|
|
Other fines may apply if an item is returned damaged. |

Can I renew library materials online?
|
|
Yes. Items can renewed using the InfoSoup online catalog by clicking the "my account" link. |
|
Do you have internet access for the public to use?
|
|
Yes. The library has 8 computers with internet access as well as Microsoft software for the public to use. |
|
There is no charge to use the internet; however, there is a charge if you wish to print anything. Please see our policy on computer and internet use for further information. |

Do you have wireless internet access available?
|
|
Yes. Wireless internet access is available. Use of the wireless network is subject to certain conditions |

and guidelines which can be viewed at here. |

How can I sign up for e-mail notification?
|
|
Complete our E-Mail Notification Form and you will receive courtesy notices to remind you when items are due as well as notification when items you have placed on hold arrive at our library. |
